Hervé Sérieyx, who graduated from the Paris Institute of Political Studies (“Sciences Po”), was a Foreign Trade Advisor for France from 1978 to 1998. He teaches at the Institut Européen des Affaires (President of the I.E.A. Education Board), the Collège des Ingénieurs (professor since 1986), at l’École des Mines, and was a senior lecturer at l’École Nationale d’Administration (ENA) from 1996 to 1999. He was also Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Institut Régional d’Administration de Lille from 1987 to 1996.
He was Secretary General of a department at Thomson-Houston (1962-1965), consultant for EUREQUIP (1965-1981), Deputy Director General of Groupe LESIEUR (1982-1985), Chief Executive Officer of EUREQUIP and GMV Conseil (1986-1991), Associate Professor at Paris VIII University (1991-1994), Vice-President of the Institut Européen du Leadership (1991-1997), member of the Labor Department of the Conseil Économique et Social (1994-1996), Interministerial Delegate for Youth Integration (1997-1998), Chief Executive Officer of Groupe Quaternaire and GMV Conseil (1999-2003), member of the “Productive Activities” Department of the Conseil Économique et Social (2004-2005) and President of the Fédération Française des Groupements d’Employeurs and of the Union des Groupements d’Employeurs de France (UGEF) (2005-2008).
Currently, Mr. Hervé Sérieyx is International Vice-President of France Bénévolat (a recognized public-interest organization), Honorary President of the Union des Groupements d’Employeurs de France (UGEF), Vice-President of “L’Emploi en Formes” (an organization that promotes new forms of employment), Vice-President of Réseau Alliances (territorial alliances that promote CSR), Director of the Institut Bertrand Schwartz (an organization that promotes collective youth involvement) and Manager at HSC.
